Accounting Expert for Subledgers

Your main tasks will be

  • Support daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting process and reconciliations
  • Process complex accounting transactions and conduct necessary analysis of processes not running well
  • Drive process improvements in standard processes in Subledgers area, mainly AP, AR
  • Oversee development and implementation of a knowledge management in the accounting area of subledgers, provide necessary support and training to accountants
  • Identification of opportunities for process efficiency, quality and productivity improvements and implementation of the improvement measures
  • Participation on global or local process improvement measures including handover to operations
  • Support the implementation of global best practice tools and applications to reduce operational costs and/or increase transparency and quality
  • Monitor quality of executed accounting transactions by regular quality check, support in the implementation of mandatory intern control (RIC)
  • Manage customer relationship at an operational level, partly on senior management Level (Head of accounting, Hub, Local accounting)

What you should have

  • University degree, ideally in finance
  • At least 5 years working experience in finance, accounting
  • Good knowledge of English and German language
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated communication skills and strong analytic skills
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects of varied topics and complexities
  • Advanced SAP knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
