Head of Commercial Project Management

Head CPM Department in the new steam turbine projects Leads a team of dedicated commercial Project Managers.
Manages, coaches and develops the department in proactive Customer Management, projects financials according to defined Accounting and Siemens policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
The head of the department is working with three main partners: internal and external customers, the head of PM in Brno, CPM lead in Germany.
Focuses on financials, opportunities and risks , reporting and projects development. The Project Management team is our face to the customer during project execution and therefore a key role to develop opportunities and mitigate risks.

You will pay particular attention to

  • Development and realization of Opportunities and Mitigation of Risks during execution
  • Transparent and correct world reporting that includes financial development and risk of the projects
  • Development and improvement of the department including personnel and information systems
  • Leading the team to follow correctly economic project financials - invoicing, payment control, contractual terms and conditions, letters of credit, guarantees, cost planning, reporting, analysis and cost monitoring
  • May clarify cases as an escalation point
  • Is responsible for defining strategies, and/or policies and guidelines

You should have

  • University degree in economic / business professions
  • Ten years of Finance business experience that includes international customers, preferable in project accounting
  • Five years of team management. Leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English, other languages is an advantage
  • Information systems knowledge, SAP is an advantage
  • Knowledge of taxes, insurance, payment and other terms and conditions
  • Analytical skills and diligence
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
