Engineering Change Specialist
At our Siemens ADVANTA R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
Our team focus is complete industrial automation products development and product care during its life cycle. We are developing state of art industrial modules, industrial computers, touch and key panels like SIMATIC Comfort Unified or SIMATIC Basic and further industrial operator equipment. Hardware and software changes are frequent on our active products as part of development, customer requests or supply chain demands. Part of our team is responsible for development, and we are looking for a new colleague, who will help us drive such a products changes.
Your task will be:
- Analysis of change requests with support of technical team.
- Requests for hardware component change, new firmware releases, mechanical design changes or production process changes
- Collaboration with hardware and software developers and with test engineers in Siemens laboratories
- Organizing meetings and communication within participating teams (emails, on-line meetings, locations visits)
- Maintenance of product data in Siemens PLM software tools, e.g. IEC Teamcenter (BOM, documentation and production data) with support of expert team
- Support of Siemens manufacturing sites on release of product into the series production. Mainly factory sites in Germany and China
- Coordination of complete change process from requirements to release
- Responsibility for change implementation, planning and reporting

What we will appreciate from you:
- High school or university degree in technical area (or relevant experience in technical field or factory automation field)
- Good knowledge of electronics, ICT (hardware components and peripherals)
- Very good organization skills, be initiative and have sense for teamplay
- Analytical thinking and being solution oriented
- English language at level allowing professional work
- Knowledge of basic project management an advantage
- Basic knowledge of hardware design and reading schematics an advantage
- Knowledge of IEC Teamcenter an advantage
