Rhapsody C++ developer (junior)

At our Siemens Advanta R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products within established, stable, and successful development project „GA 700“. We are developing a new version of a best-selling industrial extractive gas-analyser system. To keep the product up-to-date with modern communication protocols and safety and security requirements.

Your task will be:

• creating UML models in IBM Rhapsody tool and generating source code in C / C ++ for embedded systems
• design of software architecture and realization of its implementation
• international cooperation with other colleagues from different areas of development - hardware, test, project management and production
• creating of functional / unit tests and code review participation
• reating of documentation

You can look forward to:

What we will appreciate from you:

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering or sufficient work experience
• position suitable for graduates
• a big advantage is experience with IBM Rhapsody, or similar designing/programming tool
• knowledge of C ++ programming language with focus on object-oriented programming
• knowledge of UML
• good knowledge of English
• the desire to educate and develop your knowledge
• knowledge of embedded systems
• knowledge of digital electronics
